One person died and one person was injured in a road accident that took place on Sunday at Gaindakot in East Nawalparasi along the East-West highway.
Police said that 23-year-old Munal Dahal of Gaindakot municipality-4 died when a truck numbered 1 K 5199 hit a motorcycle numbered 43 p 87 on the Narayani river bridge connecting Gaindakot and Bharatpur.
Dahal, who was injured in the accident, died during treatment at New Medical College, Chitwan. Prateik Ghimire, a local riding a motorcycle, was slightly injured.
