One person died when a tipper and a motorcycle collided in Deukhuri on Sunday morning. One person was injured. According to the area police office Garhwa, the person who died was 19-year-old Sushil Thapa of Airavati rural municipality-5 of Pyuthan who was riding a motorcycle.
Thapa, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at Bhaluwang Hospital, said Chief Police Inspector Double Bahadur Bam of Ela Police Office Garhwa.
22-year-old Prachanda Thapa of Airavati Rural Municipality-5 Pyuthan, a motorcycle driver, was injured. Bam said that he was taken to Butwal for further treatment after initial treatment at Bhaluwang Hospital.
Garhwa rural municipality-1, near Dhodre Bridge, the accident occurred when a tipper No. 8 B 8259 going west from Chandrauta and a motorcycle No. 39 P 8390 going from Pyuthan to Chandrauta collided. The tipper and the driver are under police control.
