Distribution of bicycles to 100 female students who passed SEE of Lumbini Cultural Municipality

Nepal-India Friendship Center has distributed bicycles to 111 female students who passed SEE from Lumbini Cultural Municipality of Rupandehi on Saturday.

According to the center, bicycles have been distributed with the aim of encouraging female students who have passed the SEE of 2081 from the rural areas of the district. This year, 194 students from that municipality passed SEE.

Center President Sidwarth Agarwal informed that bicycles were distributed to 100 female students on the occasion of Indian Independence Day.

Tara Gyawali, Chief Administrative Officer of Lumbini Cultural Municipality, thanked the Center for distributing bicycles to female students who passed with excellent results. She said that the municipality is also conducting prize and incentive programs for students who have achieved excellent results.

Uma Adhikari, the deputy head of Sidwarthnagar municipality, urged the parents to play their role as it is not the duty of parents to clip the wings of their daughters but to draw gorets for them.

Similarly, Fanindra Sharma, head of Saina Maina Municipality, said that Maitri Kendra has inspired girls to study by distributing bicycles. Even though distribution of bicycles is like a token of love, it will play a role in improving the relationship between Nepal and India.

Earlier State Minister Bharat Kumar Shah claimed that the distribution of bicycles has refreshed the friendship between Nepal and India.

President of Nepal-India Friendship Center Sidwarth Agarwal said that the representatives of various organizations will help the female students to achieve higher education and personality development with the incentive programs including bicycles and scholarships.
