Rupandehi police have arrested one more person in the fake educational certificate case. Earlier, one person was arrested from Bhairahawa.

The arrested person is 50-year-old Hariprasad Kandel of Kalika Municipality-5 Padampur of Chitwan. Kandel is also the head of the training department of the National Independent Party (RASWPA) Bagmati Province. 

On the basis of the information given by Abhishek Yadav, a resident of Kanpur, India, who was arrested earlier, Ruppandehi police arrested Kandel from Chitwan on Thursday. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Suraj Karki, Kandel was arrested from Chitwan on Thursday night and brought to Rupandehi. He is also the director of College Course Nepal Pvt.

Earlier on July 30, 25-year-old Abhishek Yadav, a resident of Kanpur, India, was arrested by Rupandehi police with thousands of fake educational certificates, stamps, holograms and stickers. After Yadav revealed Kandel's involvement in the statement, the police arrested him.

According to the police, Kandel, who was running an educational counseling center in Chitwan, was making fake certificates and doing business through the same means. Kandel was also disqualified from being a teacher in the investigation conducted by the Authority. After the action of the authorities, he left the teaching profession.
