The Kaligandaki Corridor, which was blocked at Rakse in Gulmi, has come into one-way operation. The road, which was blocked since Thursday night due to landslides, has been operational since Friday morning.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru, Information Officer of District Police Office, Gulmi, informed that the Raksema Road located in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-2 under Gulmi Section of Kaligandaki Corridor has been opened. As the road was blocked, the locals and the commuters passing through Karidaer had to suffer.

In the Gulmi section of the Kaligand corridor, the road has been blocked several times in Gargare, Rakse, Mulk, Kanaita and Barlawa. Landslides have occurred at three places in a distance of 8 km only in Ward No. 1, 2 and 3 of Kaligandaki rural municipality. Because of this, the Gulmi section of the corridor has been blocked many times.
