One person died after drowning in frozen water (Holi) in Belka municipality-2 Shantinagar tol of Udaipur. 57-year-old Tikhe Tamang, who came out of ABC Island to plant rice in the field on Monday afternoon, drowned in the water swamp and died.

Tamang's body was found in the water swamp (Holi) on Wednesday afternoon during a search after he did not come home until late in the evening, police said. "We informed the police after the search was not found until late on Tuesday evening. On Wednesday, when we searched with the police, the body was found in Holi, west of Shantinagar," said Ramesh Tamang, the son of the deceased.

DSP Kedarman Dong, Information Officer of District Police Office, Udaipur, said that due to the incessant rains for the past few days, water had accumulated on the road and when he was about to cross Holi, Tamang died as he fell into the swamp.  . He said that the body has been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (Dharan) for post-mortem.
