Tea has been cultivated on an area of 20 plants in Sengleng Lake in Bhumikasthan Municipality-10 Dhanchaur. There are more than 21 thousand tea plants in Deurali Laliguras Community Forest.

Under the leadership of Bhumikasthan youth network, the people's representatives, employees and locals have uprooted the weeds such as grass, bitter gourd, and vanamara growing around the tea plant and in the forest. Tekraj Bhusal, president of the youth network, said that everyone has been included in Maljal  and Godmail to make the tea cultivation for trial successful. "Tea plants have grown profusely in this forest," he said. If tea is produced like in Elam, it is hoped that local people will get employment from the forest and become self-sufficient.' 

Sengleng Lake is also a tourist spot. From where you can observe the terrain of Terai with many hills . Bhumikasthan city chief Jhavilal Thapa said that due to the cold weather, religious tourists who came to visit the Supa Deurali temple were brought to the high and cold place Sengleng Lake. For that, the construction of Sengleng-Supa Deurali road is being organized more . A homestay has also been built here. Thapa said that gradually tourists will come to see the tea garden and after the road is fixed, the pilgrims who came to Supa Deurali temple will be brought to Sengleng and the goal of making the locals self-employed through tourism is being worked on. . 

'In the future, the goal is to make the villagers self-reliant through tea cultivation and tourism,' he said, 'We have worked to make Sengleng Lake, Dhanchaur area a good tourist destination, including tourism infrastructure, road construction, and expansion of tea cultivation.
