The blocked Gulmi section of the Kaligand corridor has come into one-way operation. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru informed that the road which was blocked since Wednesday, has been operating one-way since this morning due to a landslide in Rakse located in Rural Municipality-2 of Kaligand.

When the road was blocked, the locals and the passers-by were suffering. In Gulmi section of Kaligand's Corridor, Gargare, Rakse, Mulk and Kanaita are frequently blocked.

There have been three landslides in a distance of 8 kilometers only in Ward No. 1, 2 and 3 of Kaligandaki rural municipality. Because of this, the Gulmi section of the corridor has been blocked many times.

Similarly, after the water flow decreased in the Rudraveni-Wami section of Dahare Khaela  Butwal-Burtibang road  has come into operation. Ridi-Tamghas section of Butwal Tamghas road section is blocked due to landslide in Rurukshetra rural municipality-3. An alternative road has been used in this road section.
