One person died when a truck and a tipper collided on the Banke section of East-West Mahendra Highway. According to the police, both the truck and the tipper were coming towards Kohalpur. The accident happened when the tipper hit from behind.
35-year-old Bhuv Bahadur Khatri of Raptisonari-1, Sikta died when a truck No. 5Kh 3610 and a tipper No. VE1Kh 3169 collided on Wednesday near Raptisonari rural municipality-2, Mugukha river in Banke.
25-year-old Sudeep Chaudhary of Kohalpur-15 who was riding the tipper was injured. He is being treated at Kohlpur Medical College. Khatri's body has been brought to Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj.
