Due to the rain, the road in Daunne has become jammed for hours. The vehicle reached Dumkiwas at 4 am on Monday and it took more than four hours for the driver to cover the distance of 14 km.

According to District Traffic Police Inspector Janak Banjara, Vishwakarma of Downe Due to the mud around the temple, it has become difficult for vehicles to go through Downe towards Butwal. 

Banjara told that the vehicle coming towards Narayangadh via Bardghat is crossing Zenten in 3/4 hours. The southern road leading to Butwal has become a problem due to the higher elevation.

The vehicle going to Butwal via Narayangadh takes hours to climb to Vishkarma temple and west 65 turn.

The Chinese contractor company China State Engineering Corporation, which has taken the contract for the construction of Mahendra Highway, has been working at a snail's pace in Downne.
