There are six Ganesha temples in the lap of Tansen Municipality-3, Srinagar.
The Srinagar Siddhivinayak Support Committee has honored the people and organizations who have supported the temple so far on Saturday. Santosh Lal Shrestha, Mayor of Tansen Municipality, Chief District Officer Toynarayan Subedi, Intellectual Buddhi Prasad Sharma, Ward President of Tansen Municipality 3 Baburatna Shakya told the supporters that it is not normal to conduct Jatra for hundreds of years.
Ashok Maharjan, President of Bhagwati Guthi Management Committee, Shakuntala Bajracharya, President of Tansen Guthi Tansen Branch, Kamalraj Timilsena, President of Nepal Journalist Federation Palpa, etc. said that since the temple is steeped in history, all the helpers will play an important role in its preservation and development as well as making the Jatra a success.
Siddhivinayak Ganesha Temple is a historical religious place in Tansen. Guthiyar Himaladat Shrestha said that every year the local government should help to celebrate Ganesh Jatra in a grand manner. On the same occasion, Tansen Guthi Kathmandu has handed over the umbrellas that are used when taking out the Rath Yatra in this program. A religious umbrella worth 100,000 has been handed over to the committee. Sarjulal Legal, the former president of Tansen Guthi Kathmandu, said that the Ganesh temple, which is a Guthi of the Newar community, has been given umbrella support based on the need.
