The condition of the youth, who has been missing since Tuesday after being attacked by a crocodile in Khauraha River near Hattisar, Thakurbaba Municipality-9 in Bardia National Park, is unknown.

The Nepali Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police and locals have been searching till midnight on Wednesday, but they have not been found. Two elephants of the park and a motorboat have been used in the search. 

Sarojmani Paudel, information officer of the park and senior assistant conservation officer, said that the search operation has been going on since Thursday morning. He said that 19-year-old Rup Milan Tharu of Madhuvan Napa-1 Kailash, who was attacked by a crocodile in the broken Khauraha river of Karnali river, has gone missing.

According to Paudel, Tharu was attacked by a crocodile when he was swimming in the Khauraha shell. Two of the three youths from the same place who went swimming at around 5 o'clock on Tuesday evening came out safely.

Bardiya Thakurbaba Municipality-9 near Hattisar, an elephant and a motorboat have been used in the search for missing 19-year-old Rup Milan Tharu of Madhuvan Municipality-1 Kailash who went swimming in Khauraha river on Tuesday.
