Two-year-old Sushma Basnet of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-14, Gothwa, died on Monday evening after falling into a nearby ditch while playing at home.
DSP Anil Thakuri, head of ELA police office, Tulsipur, informed that Basnet, who was seriously injured after being swept away in the river, died in the night at Medical College Kohalpur Banke during treatment.
