The flow of water in Babai river has started decreasing since evening. Due to the continuous rain, the water level crossed the danger mark by afternoon and started decreasing in the evening.

By 1 pm, 7.13 meters of water flowed at the Chepang water measuring station. According to Man Bahadur Shahi, a member of District Disaster Management Committee and Armed Police Superintendent, the water supply of Babai was stopped till 7 pm. He said that the flow has decreased to 6.166 meters.

The source of the Babai River flows from Dang through Salyan. He said that the Babai River will be at risk if the rains continue in Dang and Salyan.

On Tuesday afternoon, Gulria-5, a farm in Babai tol of Walapur was flooded. Similarly, flood has occurred near Bhada bridge of Babai river. People's representatives including Gularia Municipality Chief Muktinath Yadav reached the coastal area and asked the locals not to collect wood, firewood and fish.
