Palpa-Butwal road section of Siddharth Highway has been opened for one-way operation after the landslides with large stones that fell due to incessant rains were removed. Under the highway, the road in Tinau Rural Municipality-3, Dobhan Siddhababa area was blocked due to landslides.

The road was blocked in at least three places near the Siddha Baba temple due to landslides with large rocks and mud. The road was completely blocked for three hours. Heavy machines from the China State Construction Engineering Corporation immediately attempted to open it.

Palpa police chief SP Pawan Kumar Bhattarai informed that as soon as the heavy rain stopped, the landslides and stones on the road were removed and the vehicles stopped were sent to their destination. According to him, the vehicles stopped at Prabhas and Dobhan on the highway have been sent to their destination after landslides and stones fell in Siddhababa area.

Also, the vehicles stopped at the Goal Park area of Butwal have also been slowly sent to their destination. Some vehicles were stopped in the middle of the road. They have also been sent safely to their destination with the help of the police.

Tunnel construction work is going on in Siddhababa area. The landslides in Palpa's Siddhababa area have affected the vehicles going to Palpa as well as Gulmi, Arghakhanchi, Syangja, Pokhara, Parbat, Baglung, Myagdi, Mustang and other destinations.
