The new working committee of the Democratic Sports Association Rupandehi has been elected. A new committee of 17 members was elected under the leadership of Kamal GC from the convention held in Bhairahawa.

According to the union, the ad hoc committee that was there before was elected as the new working committee from the convention. The new and old record holders who are in the process of forming the committee have been selected. 

Mukesh Kunwar and Khushbu Choudhary have been elected as vice presidents of the association, Deepak Kafle as secretary, Priyabandhu Neupane as treasurer and Arjun Kunwar as co-secretary. 

According to the president GC, Motikala Gurung, Saraswati Lamgade, Narayan Thapa, Ramesh Pant, Kapil Gautam, Buddha Maharjan, Ram Prasad Kahar, Sandesh Pokharel, Vikas Narayan Shrestha, Niraj Narayan Shrestha and Prabhat Gurung have been elected as members.  The president of

association, GC, said that the new committee will intensify the sports activities throughout Rupandehi district and the sports competition which was conducted in Bhairahawa in the past will be continued. "Players who have participated in national and international level competitions have been selected in our working committee," he said, "even if it is for their honor, we will emphasize sports competitions."
