Although there was not much rain during this year's rainy season, the Gulmi section of the Kaligandaki Corridor is frequently blocked due to dry landslides. Roads are blocked mainly in rural municipality-1 Gargare and Ward No. 6 Barlawa of Kaligand due to landslides with rocks.

The road, which was blocked more than 10 times in June, has been blocked five times since July. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru informed that even on Thursday morning, the road was blocked in Gargare. However, the road was opened on Thursday morning.

With the activation of the police and public representatives, construction workers are helping to open the blocked road. The District Disaster Management Committee had decided that if the roads in Gulmi are blocked, the road will be opened by the businessmen who are under construction or if the road has not been handed over. The representative of the company, Mahesh Subedi, informed that currently the blocked road of the corridor is being opened by Kalika Construction. He said that the road will be opened as soon as it is blocked.
