Dengue infected people have been found in Mission Hospital this year too. In the previous financial year, 423 positive dengue patients were treated in Mission Hospital alone. Till the last week of June, 423 patients of scrub typhus were found positive in Mission Hospital, but 259 patients were admitted and treated.
The number of scrub typhus positive patients has also increased in the mission hospital. It is difficult to get a bed in Palpa Hospital, where there were no patients until two weeks ago. According to Health Office Palpa, the number of dengue and scrub typhus patients increases in June and July. Last year, 269 scrub typhus patients were found, and this year, 166 patients were found till the second week of July, Health Office Palpa said.
