In order to reduce the possible road accidents, the operation of all types of vehicles has been banned on the road of martyrs of Rolpa and the inner roads of rural areas at night.

The district security committee has imposed a complete ban on traffic operations on those roads until August 15 from 6:00 am to 5:30 am.

The district security committee proposed to make the decision, and the all-party and all-party meeting held on Saturday passed the decision. Chief District Officer Vasudev Dahal said that the all-party meeting approved the implementation of the decision before the District Security Committee. He is also the chairman of the District Security Committee. According to him, this decision had to be taken after the increasing rains and continuous blocking of roads. He said that during that period, ambulances carrying patients and vehicles carrying other essential materials were inspected by officers of police units at various locations and arrangements were made to allow them to operate. Due to this decision, night buses running from Rajdhani and Dang to Rukum and Rolpa via Shahidmarg have been affected.

From Dang's Ghorahi to Rolpa's Holeri and before that to Nuwagaon, Garigaon, Ghartigaon, Duikholi, Kureli and Thabang and to Rukum East, the means of transport have been running on the under-construction Martyr's Road. Dozens of small vehicles including day and night buses are plying in that area.

As the road construction work is very slow, the road is not stopped during the rainy season. Madhav Adhikari, Chief Engineer of Shahidmarg Road Construction Project Office, said that rescue teams have been deployed at various places to prevent the road from being blocked. However, Chief District Officer Dahal said that most of the Martyr's Road is blocked by landslides and falling stones. He claims that the safety of the citizens will be ensured if the vehicles are not allowed to operate at night until August.
