Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chetnarayan Acharya has said that kidney patients will not have to go outside the district for dialysis. Chief Minister Acharya said this while inaugurating the newly constructed building of Prithvichandra District Hospital in West Nawalparasi.

Until now, kidney patients had to go to Rupandehi and other districts for dialysis. But now this service will be available in the district hospital itself," he said, "I instruct all employees and health workers to pay attention to the quality and service of the district hospitals with specialists. Due to the lack of physical infrastructure, the hospital currently has 13 specialist doctors, apart from a pediatric specialist and a mental illness specialist.

In the inauguration program of the building, leaders including former minister and MP Dhruv Bahadur Pradhan, Devendraraj Kandel, Baijnath Chaudhary, Ram Bachchan Yadav emphasized that all should work together to equip the district hospital with facilities.
