47 Nepali women who were about to be taken to Kuwait by illegal route have been rescued from India.

On Thursday evening, a team of Superintendent of Police Pradeep Bahadur Chhetri of District Police Office Bhairahawa, Assistant Superintendent of Police Mekharaj Joshi of No. 27 Gana Roopandehi brought them to Nepal through Bhairahawa checkpoint and brought them to District Police Office Bhairahawa.

DSP Ganesh Sapkota informed that the rescued women will be sent to Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau for further investigation today after keeping the entry record. According to him, the rescued women's ages range from 22 to 32 years.
