Pratappur Rural Municipality of West Nawalparasi has closed the school for three days due to the heat. Due to the hot sun and hot wind, the holiday was given keeping in mind the health of the children.
Chairman of the rural municipality, Umeshchandra Yadav, issued a notice today and instructed all educational institutions within the municipality to have holidays till 9th, 10th and 11th of July.
According to the rural municipality, it is difficult to walk outside during the afternoon and it is too hot because some schools have zinc roofs. The district headquarters Parasi and its surrounding areas have been affected by hot winds and rising temperatures for the past few days. Other municipalities of the district have also prepared to give holidays.
