According to DSP Neupane, taking advantage of the open border, there was a success in seizing the goods after tightening the control of smuggling from the Indian market to Nepal. Similarly, 208 vehicles including other trucks, mini trucks, 8 tractors, cars, vans, 10 small elephants, 5 auto rickshaws, 175 motorcycles and 10 bicycles have been seized. According to Armed Forces, goods with fixed value were recovered and handed over to Bhairahawa Customs, Revenue Investigation, Local Level and Animal and Plant Quarantine Offices for taking necessary action.
