The farmers of West Nawalparasi are worried due to lack of rain for a long time. Even though planting is done underground and through water from canals, due to lack of rain, the fields have started to break.

Even in places where there is underground irrigation system, the farmers are in trouble because of the need to irrigate every two days.  So far 90% of the rice has been planted in the district and the planted rice is about to turn yellow due to lack of water.

The farmers who are left to plant are waiting for rain from the sky. Manish Chaudhary of Sarawal-4 said that if the plants are not planted within the next one week, the fields will be barren. "During the first week of June, water accumulated in the ponds and ponds. Planting was done using that water,' he said, 'The water is like rain, even if it rains, it is only raining.'

The district has received normal rains with storms, but there has not been enough rain for planting. In the district, paddy has been cultivated in an area of 21,000 hectares.
