A unique gift of nature, a fair is held in Resunga, Gulmi, throughout the month of July. This year too, programs such as daily prayers and sermons have been started at the Sawne Mela through the Resunga Protection Committee and the Temple Management Committee.

Bathing in the Mahapokhari throughout the month, the steep stairs, the beautiful scenery on the right and left, the natural coolness and the beautiful sound of the birds make Resunga enjoyable. Yagyaprasad Panthi, Secretary General of Resunga Protection Committee said that a month-long fair has started in Resunga, an important religious, historical and touristic area.

It is believed that after worshiping Siddha in Resunga, people will get long life, cattle will always be milked, famine will be removed, excess rain and lack of rain will stop, happiness, prosperity and growth will be achieved.

In the month of July, devotees come from places like Gulmi, Arghakhanchi, Palpa, Butwal to see Siddha. From Resunga  Snow ranges like Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Machhapurchhre can also be seen from Resunga . Here, tourists enjoy the view of various snow ranges while enjoying the forest.

Resunga is a religious and touristic place such as pond, Yagyashala, Gaushala, Siddha Mandir, Bhutawar, etc., so there is a rush of devotees, said Suresh Chandra Bhusal, Chairman of Resunga Protection Committee. "There is free accommodation and food for tourists," he said, "God, Amrit, Punya and Siddha Bhoomi Resunga is the hotbed of tourists."

Resunga area is full of red flowers in February, March and April. Setamye is snowed in Pus and Magh. Thousands of tourists enter the fair in July. Resunga Municipality has conducted a campaign to increase tourists in the Resunga area. Because of this, domestic and foreign tourists visiting Resunga have increased.

The Resunga region, which is 2,300 meters above sea level, provides coolness for twelve months. It is an important region of Nepal rich in biological diversity. Tamghas is 113 km from Butwal, the commercial center of Lumbini province, and after crossing the road for 6 km from here, Resunga area is reached.
