One person died in a road accident in Rupandehi. The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Karan Kunwar Chhetri of Tilottama Municipality-6 in the district, police said.
According to the police, at 3:10 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, the accident occurred when the motorcycle number Lu 95 P 1484 was coming from Devkota Chowk on Siddharth Highway towards Buddha Chowk and hit the divider on the side of the road.
He suffered head and chest injuries and was sent to Bhim Hospital for treatment. District police spokesperson Suraj Karki informed that he died at 5 o'clock during the treatment.
