The number of tourists visiting Rukum East and Chawri Lake on the border of Baglung district is increasing day by day. Located at a height of about 4,000 meters above sea level, domestic tourists come here to enjoy the beautiful nature and beautiful flowers of this lake.

You can reach Chauri Lake after walking for about 3 hours from Madhyapahari Lokmarg. It is suitable for visiting here in any season and has beauty according to the season. But Hari Sunar, a local sheepherder, said that the beauty of the place is enlivened by the bleating of sheep and goats along with the movement of shepherds during summer.
Also, Sunar says that during this season, especially from mid-June to the first week of July, many bookiflowers bloom, so more people come at this time than at other times. He said, "Many mountains towards Rukum East, Baglung and Myagdi can be seen from here. Along with these mountains, you can also come here in winter to enjoy the direct snow.'
Saroj Oli of Jajarkot, who visited here, said that Chauri Lake is the most suitable destination to soak in the natural beauty while enjoying the short-sweet trekking after leaving the mid-hill folk road. I came here when it was snowing and I came in this yam too. It's funny . Chauri Lake felt like a piece of heaven where you can enjoy the beauty and fragrance of flowers in nature,' he said.
Chauri Lake located on the border of Rukum East and Baglung can be seen along with the high mountains and the beautiful Lekali Patan and Dhorpatan hunting reserves.
Although this place is called Chauri Lake or Chauri Buki, the special name of this place is 'Chunguri Buki', according to Veer Prasad Gharti Magar of Bhume Rural Municipality-1, Lugum.
