Media operator arrested with fake notes and drugs
Banke area police have arrested a group of 6 people who had stolen gold ornaments and cash from India.
They were arrested at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon along with gold jewelery weighing 15 tola 25 gold (including red stone) and cash Nepalese seven lakh eighty seven thousand from India, while they were staying in Hotel New Kalikote, located in Kohalpur Municipality Ward No.11.
According to DSP Lakshmi Khanal of Ela Police Office Kohalpur, 42-year-old Man Bahadur Shahi, who lives in District Kalikot Raskot Municipality Ward No. 1, Kalikot Raskot Municipality Ward No. 42-year-old Tej Bahadur Shahi of 1, 18-year-old Pankaj K.C. of Sanni Triveni rural municipality ward no. 8 of Kalikot, Narharinath rural municipality ward no. 28-year-old Sarita Shahi, resident of 9, Sanni Triveni rural municipality ward no. 45-year-old Prem Bahadur Khatri and 38-year-old Anita Khatri are living in 8.
According to the information that they were staying in Hotel New Kalikote in Ward No. 11 of Kohalpur Municipality, they had stolen gold ornaments and cash from India.
Meanwhile, in Banke's Kohalpur, the police have arrested one person with fake notes and drugs. Among those arrested is Man Bahadur Sahakari Deuba, chairman and director of Jangarjan Network Pvt Ltd. According to Ela Police Office, Kohalpur, the police team that arrived on Tuesday based on a special information arrested him from the office of Jangarjan Online, which is run under this company.
According to DSP Lakshmi Khanal of Kohalpur, 51 fake notes worth 1000 and 19 kg 335 grams of opium have been recovered from Deuba's possession. The police also seized a color printer, monitor, CPU, etc. from the office.
