Two teenagers died on Monday after being washed away in the Babai river. Police informed that 17-year-old Vidhan KC, a resident of Jhumre, and 18-year-old Kushal Budha Magar, a resident of Tulsipur-5, died while swimming in the Babai River near Purandhara Chahran, Babai Rural Municipality-5.

SP Arjun Prasad Timilsina, Head of District Police Office Dang, said that three friends fell into the river, one managed to swim out and the other two were swept away.

Their bodies were found 50 meters down with the help of Nepal Police, Armed Police and locals who went missing due to landslides.
