Basyal, former vice president of Nepal Journalist Federation, died in a motorcycle accident

Krishna Prasad Basyal (Rakesh), former Central Vice President of Federation of Nepalese Journalists died in a motorcycle accident on Sunday.

According to District Police Office Bardia Information Officer and DSP Chakra Damar Pal, he died suddenly during treatment at the Teaching Hospital Nepalganj. At Ganesh Chowk located in the same Palika-8 of Hulaki Road, the motorcycle went out of control and Basyal, who was sitting behind, was seriously injured.

While protecting the cyclist, the motorcycle went out of control and the accident happened, he said. Motorcyclist Bishnu Paudel was injured and is undergoing treatment in Gularia.

Pradip Tharu, a cyclist of Barbardia Municipality-4, was injured and returned home after treatment, police said. The 57-year-old Basyal became the president of the Federation of Journalists, Bardia for two terms and became the central vice president.
