The names of 6 people from Rashtriya Prajatantra Party (RPPA) have been recommended for the by-elections to be held on October 17 in Rupandehi Region No. 3.
The RPPA district performance committee meeting recommended the names of 6 people to the center. Along with Rupandehi district president and former mayor of the party Sagar Pratap Rana, central member Vasant Vikram Shahi, youth leader Captain Gaurav Bohra, engineer Prajwal Bohra, central member Swati Thapa and district spokesperson and advocate Dilip Kumar Mallik have been recommended. Similarly, the meeting also decided to prepare for by-elections.
In the election held in November 2079, RPP leader Deepak Bohra was elected as a member of the House of Representatives by defeating Congress candidate Balkrishna Khan in Rupandehi-3. After the death of Bohra last March, the Election Commission is going to hold a by-election.
