The road has been blocked at two places on the Kaligand corridor in Gulmi.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru informed that the road was blocked in Kaligand Rural Municipality-1 Gargare and Ward No. 6 Barlawa.
The road has been blocked since Sunday morning due to a large landslide with rocks falling from above in both places. The road has been blocked many times in these places. Because of this, the passengers passing through the corridor of Kaligand have to suffer. Local passengers were also killed.
A team from Portighat police station has been deployed in the landslide affected area. The police said that they are coordinating with the local municipality and builders to open the road.
In this area of the Kaligand corridor, landslides with landslides occur when it rains, and dry landslides with large rocks fall, even when there is no rain.
