389 schemes completed in Rampur in the current financial year

In the current financial year, 389 schemes have been completed in Rampur municipality of Palpa. In the fiscal year 2081/82, the municipality included 403 plans, but 14 plans could not be completed, of which 9 plans were not signed. Suryadarshan Pandit, chief administrative officer in Rampur Municipality informed that there is no work despite 5 planning agreements.

Bikram Basnet, head of planning branch, informed that the contract process and the plan through consumers started on time and completed on the specified date. According to him, the financial progress this year has also been 87 percent.

Rampur has achieved 87 percent financial progress both in current and capital in the current financial year 2081/82. In the last fiscal year 2080/081, 81 percent financial progress was made. Mayor Raman Bahadur Thapa said that Rampur has made 6.31 percent more financial progress in the current financial year compared to the previous year. According to him, 81 percent financial progress was achieved in the last financial year.

Mayor Thapa said that many plans and programs have been completed due to the monitoring and supervision of the plans being conducted within the municipality.

Deputy Mayor Balkumari Thapa said that the programs and plans conducted by the monitoring are effective and of high quality. "Financial progress has also increased due to arrangement of plan contracts, account opening and payment through mobile camps for the convenience of city residents," Deputy Chief Thapa said. The municipality conducted plans in the fields of education development, health services, agriculture and livestock development, physical infrastructure and urban development, environment, sanitation and greenery, and disaster management. According to the municipality, there are programs for youth and sports, tourism, gender equality, cooperative and employment promotion, and regular maintenance. 

For the current financial year, the municipality allocated a total budget of 74 million 11 lakh 4 thousand. Mayor Thapa said that 64 crore 71 lakh 4 thousand 574 rupees were spent under this. On the capital side, out of the budget allocation of 19 million 19 million 10 thousand rupees, 15 million 16 million 34 thousand 574 rupees have been spent. On the capital side, this expenditure amount is 79.01 percent. Currently, the municipality allocated a budget of Rs 54 crore 91 lakh 94 thousand. In which 49 crore 54 lakh 70 thousand 66.48 rupees have been spent. Currently, the financial progress of Rampur municipality is 90.22 percent in this financial year.  

In the fiscal year 2082/83, the municipality has released a budget equal to 82 million 18 million 66 thousand 621 rupees. The budget does not include the social security allowance and the budget coming through the road board. The municipality has a budget of 12 million 22 million federal equalization grants, 10 million 63 million 98 thousand from federal revenue distribution, 91 million federal supplementary capital, and 75 million federal special grants. 

35 million 11 million for the federal condition, 28 million for the federal condition, 83 million 23 thousand for provincial equalization subsidy, 12 million 29 million 37 thousand for provincial revenue distribution. 1 million 20 million from the provincial supplement, 1.5 million 8 thousand from the provincial condition and 30 million from the capital side and 140 million from internal resources. Current budget 605 million 58 thousand and capital expenditure 216 million 68 million 8 thousand have been allocated for expenses.

Municipality has allocated 60-60 million equally to all 10 wards. Development of agriculture, industry, tourism sector, quality infrastructure construction, social development, employment within Rampur city has been prioritized.
