The second meeting of the 18th Municipal Council of Kapilvastu Municipality has awarded two media workers active in the city on Friday.

Locals Ghulam Ali and Ajay Sahani have been awarded the honor of best journalists, who have exposed the issues of city development, model practice and people's livelihood through media.

Mayor Sudeep Paudel, Deputy Mayor Sunita Gupta and Chief Administrative Officer Punaram Paudel dressed both journalists and presented certificates of appreciation with 25,000 cash.
