A teenager was arrested with a pistol in Ghorahi on Tuesday evening.
Police informed that 19-year-old Ajay Vick, who hails from Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3, Falate Salyan and is currently staying at Lotus Training Center near Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-15, BP Chowk, was arrested with a pistol and bullets.
Based on confidential information, a team under the command of Police Inspector Suraj Singh from the Ward Police Office, Ghorahi recovered a 0.32 caliber pistol hidden under the bed of the hostel where Vick lives.
DSP Chakra Bahadur Shah, the spokesperson of the District Police Office, said that four rounds of bullets for the same pistol and a magazine of seven rounds capacity were recovered from him. He informed that more investigation is being done on Vick.
