Kalu Khadka, principal of Janata Secondary School of Sisne Rural Municipality-3, Pokhara, has found it easy to directly interact with the students even when he is outside the school due to his special work. The reason is the connection of CC cameras that can communicate with each other in the school.
In the first week of last June, 28 cameras were installed in all classrooms, offices, staff rooms, and science laboratories of the school by the rural municipality. After that, Principal Khadka said that it is easy to directly monitor the activities of the school wherever he is.
'When you or any other school staff had to go out for special work, you had to call to understand the school's situation . But after the installation of the CC camera, it has become very easy," said Principal Khadka, "we have the facility not only to see through the connected camera, but also to hear the voice and talk from there . It has made it easier.'

If the internet is available, after arranging the necessary technical combination, one can see, hear and communicate through this type of CC camera . According to Khadka, it is possible to directly monitor what is happening in the class, what the students are doing, and how the class teacher is fulfilling his responsibilities.
Similarly, if there is a situation to give information or instruction in each class, instead of going to the classroom, the informant can give the information from where he is, he said. This has increased awareness among both teachers and students. Besides, it has become easier to monitor various wrongful activities in the school premises and take action against them," he added .
Janata Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Pokhara as well as Rukmini Madhyamik School located in Sisne Rural Municipality-5, said that since CC cameras have been installed, it has become easier, said the principal Chandra Bahadur Malla. Mentioning that cameras were installed in the school a few years ago, Mall informed that cameras have been installed in every classroom, office, staff room, science laboratory and office premises.
'We can only see through the cameras installed in our school, we cannot have a double dialogue . But even so, it has been very easy. After being seen on the camera, the awareness of students, teachers and everyone in the school has increased,' said Headmaster Malla, 'This has helped to achieve the expected results and improve teaching.'
In the coming days, there is a plan to make other schools within the municipality also technology-friendly. There are currently 40 community and 3 institutional schools in Sisne Rural Municipality.
