District Police Office Kohalpur said that 32-year-old Bhavilal Roka, a resident of Baijnath Rural Municipality-2, Makaibari, killed his father Top Bahadur Roka, 60 years old, on Saturday night using a sharp weapon. Bhavilal is on the run after his father's murder.
According to DSP Lakshmi Khanal of Kohalpur area police office, Bavilal killed his father due to a general dispute at home on Saturday. He said that a detailed investigation of the incident is underway. Bhavilal, a drug user, returned to Sadhar center twice.
