Rapti rural municipality has decided to suspend classes in all schools within the municipality today and tomorrow, keeping in mind the risk of heavy rains and possible floods, landslides and other natural disasters.

The Education Branch of Rapti Rural Municipality issued a notice on Sunday and informed that such a decision was made based on the alert notice issued by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority on June 14. 

Senior Education Officer Biswas Vick has informed that the leave will be cut off from the vacation.

It has been requested through a notice to keep children away from water sources such as small and big rivers, wells, ponds, not to go to such areas except for essentials, and to conduct daily work only based on the updated information of seasonal bulletins.
