A 40-year-old man died of electrocution in Gulmi. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru informed that 40-year-old Jhabindra Ghimire, a local resident, died while climbing an electric pole at Wagla Dwaneta, Dhurkot Rural Municipality-7 of the district.

According to the police, Ghimire, who was electrocuted, was brought to Gulmi Hospital for treatment. He was declared dead by the doctor. He was electrocuted while climbing an iron pole under a high-tension line to repair electricity.

A police team led by Sub-Inspector Deepak Shah from Police Station Marvung was deployed at the scene.
