Three members of the same family fell ill after eating poisonous mushrooms.
District Police Office Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru informed that 68-year-old Phoolmaya Kumal, 76-year-old Thamman Bahadur Kumal and 36-year-old Geeta Kumal of Musikot Municipality-4 Digamchaur are among the sick.
After cooking and eating the mushrooms picked from the forest on Thursday, they had symptoms such as headache, tingling and vomiting last night. All the three patients were sent to Lumbini Medical College Prabhas in Palpa for treatment at night.
As soon as they got the information about the incident, the police team led by Constable Krishnamohan Kewat from Indragowda Police Station immediately sent the three to Palpa for treatment. The police said that their condition is safe.
