Illegal excavation in Tinau river, village staff took away the key of the excavator

The Tinau rural municipality has paid a fine of 50,000 to the builders who used excavators to extract stones from the river against the decision of the disaster management committee.

 

Tinau-5, between Churchre and Gaudepool in the river  Bhagwati Construction Butwal, which has been digging and removing stones for two weeks by taking an excavator , has been fined .

For the work contracted through the road division office, the construction business went to the river after June 1 against the decision of the disaster management committee. Excavator and the stone was taken out by a tractor and was publicized in the media and social networks. Even if one is prosecuted, the remaining one  Excavator and tractor are not involved in the action .  

Village revenue branch chief Niranjan Lamichhane informed that the key of Bhagwati Construction's excavator was seized and fined in Kalimati below the river between Churchre and Gaude bridge. Based on the information that the builders used excavators and tractors to extract stones illegally from the river, the rural municipality  Excavation Tor has taken control of the key . The chief administrative officer of the village, Dinesh Saru, said that the construction businessmen who did illegal mining were fined according to the economic act.

According to local residents, even after June 1, from morning to evening  Excavation Torr used breakers to break stones in Dumre River (Tinau). According to the locals, it was also seen that they were being exported using tractors. Under the road division office, Bhagwati Construction has taken the contract for laying plum concrete wall near Churchre. Durga Gautam, the information officer of the road division, informed that the construction company that has taken up the road slope work at various places including this wall, has taken the contract to complete the work on 28 November 2081.

In the current financial year 2081/82, Tinau rural municipality collected a fine of 25,000, 25,000, 100,000, 100,000, 100,000, 100,000, 100,000 and 100,000 from the tipper of Lu 2 Kh 3760, Lu 2 Kh 5867 and Lu 2 Kh 3760. According to him, a fine of 20,000 has been imposed on Lu 4 7597, 10,000 on Lu 4 1613, 25,000 on Lumbini Province 01-01-001 and 0134 Tipper.
