"They were absconding towards India after the murder," said police chief Bhattarai, "we were able to arrest them only after a lot of effort." Police Deputy Superintendent Sunil Malla informed that Purna Bahadur confessed to the murder after the fight. "In the preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that he was beaten at home and taken to the nearby corn field," Deputy Superintendent of Police Malla said.
Purna Bahadur is being investigated further by the District Police Office, Palpa, with a 5-day deadline as per section 14 (1) of the Civil Code of Criminal Procedure, 2074, from the District Court, Palpa for the offense related to life under the Civil Act, 2020.
