program, the Central Chairman of the Land Problem Solution Commission, Rizal, promised to distribute land ownership certificates to landless squatters, landless Dalits and unorganized residents within the specified time frame.
Lamhi's outgoing mayor Kul Bahadur KC, chief of surveyor's office Dang Puran Chaudhary, expert member of the commission Yagyaraj Acharya, Nepal head of the United Nations Human Settlements Program Pragya Pradhan and others expressed happiness that the campaign to hand over ownership of land to landless squatters has started getting meaningful.
