Bhumikasthan has prioritized agricultural production, education, health, infrastructure development and social development in the budget. The city has been cultivating barren land for two years. In the area of 329 plantations, onion, Akbare chilli, maize seed production and rice cultivation have been being cultivated. The city has started producing itself with the help of hard-working people. Harishchandra Bhusal, Municipal Information Officer, said that 250 people have been employed in this financial year and 150 people are targeted for direct employment in the next financial year. It is estimated that 300 people will be indirectly employed in the mobilization of hardworking manpower. Bhusal also said that the area to cultivate 50 seedlings will be increased next year.

Municipality head Jhavilal Thapa said that according to the goal of hardworking people not to keep barren fields, to cultivate, and to create self-employment by connecting the youth to agricultural enterprises, the municipality is going to cultivate by itself. He said that the goal is to connect the youth of all wards to agriculture and make them self-employed and independent in production.

In order to modernize, commercialize and industrialize agricultural enterprises, it is mentioned in the budget that agricultural tools will be provided with 50 percent subsidy to provide modern technology to farmers. Similarly, the main road within the city will be made vehicular for twelve months. The target is to complete the roads that are currently being constructed and are being pitched. Most of the old plans including increasing the educational quality in schools have been continued in the budget.
