All the four sub-metropolitan municipalities of Lumbini province have announced the budget for the next financial year on Tuesday. Butwal sub-metropolitan city has brought the highest budget. Butwal announced a budget of 3.36 billion rupees on Monday.

 Deputy Chief Savitradevi Aryal said that 49 percent of the budget is operational and 51 percent is capital. 

Butwal sub-metropolis, which prioritizes education, health, employment, tourism and agriculture, has estimated that the internal income for the coming year will be 95 million. The budget has given a slogan to the students studying in the college that 'Let's create jobs along with studies, let's create conditions for the youth to live in the country'. 

Similarly, the deputy head of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city of Dang, Shyani Chaudhary, has presented a budget of 2.7 billion. She did not mention the current and capital expenditure while publishing the original figure because all the wards were not prepared and the plan was not submitted. The employees said that 1 billion 34 million has been allocated for current and 679 million for capital, but it has not been made public. Similarly, it is said that 26 million has been allocated for financial expenses. 

In the sub-metropolis where there are 19 wards, pride projects worth 50 lakhs have been selected for all the wards. Deputy Chief Choudhary has allocated 50 lakhs to his organization 'Didi Ghar'. The organization has been protecting helpless children. Ghorahi sub-metropolis of Dang has released a budget of 2.29 billion 2.7 million rupees. 

Banke's Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city has announced a budget of 1 billion 64 crore 71 lakh rupees. The sub-metropolis, which has allocated 597.7 million for capital, has allocated 1.9 billion for running. Deputy Chief Kamarudhin Rai said that the internal resources are estimated at 22 million 12 million rupees with financial arrangement of 40 million rupees. According to him, the budget has emphasized on education, health, industrialization and infrastructure.

There are 73 rural municipalities, 32 municipalities and 4 sub-metropolitan municipalities in Lumbini. Among them, all the sub-metropolitans have brought their budgets by Tuesday evening. 19 out of 32 municipalities have released their budgets. Likewise, 51 out of 73 rural municipalities have released their budgets.
