The Nepali Congress district committee has announced the decision to exclude all Congress ministers who have represented the Lumbini state government from public and party programs in the district.
In the statement signed by the district president of the party, Abdul Kalam, it has been mentioned that serious attention has been drawn to the annual program and budget for the financial year 2082/83 presented in the provincial assembly on June 1. In the statement, it has been alleged that the budget has been allocated in an arbitrary manner, ignoring the decision of the district party.
Development programs in the district are seen to be low, contrary to the spirit and purpose of federalism, more and unnatural planning has been done in the constituencies of those who have access and the ministers themselves.
'Most of the budget is seen only in Pyuthan, Arghakhanchi and Gulmi,' said the party district president Kalam, 'Kapil Vastu has been neglected. Are only three districts in Lumbini province? He was forced to take such a harsh decision.'
He has warned that if the ministers are not truthful, more drastic decisions will be taken.
