The road from Aryabhanjang on Siddhartha Highway to Rampur via Jagbadi has been blocked since Monday morning due to the landslides that occurred along with the incessant rain.
A landslide with stones has fallen in Budikot area near Aryabhanjyang of this 49 km long road . Similarly, the police informed that landslides occurred in Rigira of Humin, Dhowadi of Tanhu, Birkot, Sefat, Siluva and other areas.
Vehicles going to Mathagadhi, Purvkhola, Rambha, Nisdi Rural Municipality as well as some parts of Rampur Municipality pass through this road. The vehicle could not move after the road was blocked.
Landslide has occurred in the place where the road has been widened and dozers have been used for upgrading. Vehicles going to dozens of places including Chidipani, Humin, Tanhu, Birkot, Purvkhola, Jalpa, Jamire, Archale, Siluva, Jagbadi etc. will operate through this road .
Birkot, Khalukbhanjyang, Sefat, Jagbadi, Siluva, Welldanda and other places, the road is more damaged. Road Division Office Palpa has sent a dozer to clear the landslide.
