Kaligandaki Corridor road section in Kaligandaki rural municipality-1 Gargare was blocked since Friday morning when a landslide fell from above.
Information Officer of District Police Office, Gulmi, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ganga Bahadur Saru informed that the road was opened on Sunday evening only after continuous efforts.
When the road was blocked by the landslide, there was a problem in the movement of local short-distance vehicles, vehicles running in the headquarters Tamghas, Baglung, Parbat, Butwal and Pokhara among others.
Just a few days ago, the road that was blocked due to a landslide in Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-6 Baralba of Kaligandaki Corridor was opened to one-way operation after two days. The said road has not yet come into two-way operation.
