A youth has been killed in Rupandehi. District Police Office Rupandehi said that 29-year-old Jyoti Vick, resident of Malika Rural Municipality-6, Gulmi, was killed on ICI Path, Kalikapath, Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-9, on Friday morning.
According to DSP Suraj Karki, the spokesperson of the police office, Bik was killed by his friend by throwing stones at him.
The police have arrested Balkrishna Neupane, who has a permanent home in Panini Rural Municipality-2 of Arghakhanchi and is currently living in Sainamaina Municipality-6 of Rupandehi, on the charge of murder. The police team reached the spot after receiving information about the murder of a person and arrested Neupane from Butwal-8 Sukkhanagar during the investigation. Preliminary investigation revealed that he killed Vick by hitting his head and other parts with a stone.
The police believe that the incident took place when there was a fight between them, who were street dependents. According to the police, the accused is being further investigated in the case of duty-bound killing after obtaining an extension of time from the Rupandehi District Court.
