Agricultural materials have been distributed to young women of Rajapur and Thakurbaba municipalities for self-sufficiency in agriculture.

Around three dozen young women in Rajapur Municipality-4 and Thakurbaba Municipality-9 were distributed by Plan International, UNESCO Children's Club Banke during a ceremony.

Agricultural tools distributed include tools such as hoes, spades, tunnels, zinc leaves, gas cylinders, seeds, etc. Ravi Manandhar, president of the club, said that materials worth about 24,000 were distributed to one person.

'The aim is to become self-sufficient by operating pesticide-free vegetable farming, bet bas industry,' he said, 'for this, the aim is to reduce child marriage.' The young women received the materials after receiving the training. Young women in the age group of 18 to 23 years participated in the training.
